2022 Nissan Armada: Trim Levels and Pricing

Looking for a vehicle that can tackle the trails, but also handle an urban family outing? Look no further — the 2022 Nissan Armada is fit for the job. The full-size, 3-row SUV is Nissan’s largest and most capable vehicle, while still remaining a value choice to competitors. Featuring a standard V8 engine and old-school body-on-frame architecture, the Armada boasts best-in-class features without breaking the bank.

The Armada was refreshed in 2021 with technology upgrades, exterior styling tweaks, and a healthy boost in horsepower and torque. For its 2022 rendition, the Armada remains largely unchanged.

The 2022 Nissan Armada is available in four trims – S, SV, SL, and Platinum – along with 2WD and 4WD configurations.

2022 Nissan Armada Pricing + Packages

The MSRP for the 2022 Armada is listed below, including a $1,495 destination fee. Rear-wheel drive is standard in each trim, and four-wheel drive is optional for an additional $3,000.

S: $50,395
SV: $53,995
SL: $57,395
Platinum: $66,395

Three packages are offered on the Armada: Appearance (SV) for $2,500, Midnight Edition (SL) for $1,990, and Captain’s Chairs (SL, Platinum) for $650.

2022 Nissan Armada S

The base model Armada S gives drivers a good bang for their buck. Voted the “Lowest 5-Year Cost to Own SUV” in 2021 by Kelley Blue Book, the Armada provides a good entry into the full-size SUV market without sacrificing budget. It also shares key components with the luxury Infiniti QX80, which is built on the same platform and shares the same parent company. For example, the two vehicles both come standard with a powerful 5.6-liter V8 engine, similar cargo volumes, and a comparable list of safety features. The main difference — the Armada’s starting price is over $20k less than the QX80.

Starting at an attractive MSRP of $50,395 (including destination fee), the Armada rivals competitors such as the Ford Expedition and Jeep Wagoneer with its rugged good looks, high-quality interior, legit off-roading capabilities, and competitive towing capacity.

Some key features of the Armada S include its 12.3-inch touchscreen, 18-inch alloy wheels with a full-size spare, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Exterior colors are limited to silver, black, and gray.

The base model Nissan Armada S includes:

  • 18-inch alloy wheels with a full-size spare as a backup
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen (largest standard in its class)
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • 10-way power-adjustable front seat
  • Tow hitch receiver with prewiring for a trailer brake controller
  • Keyless start
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay smartphone integration
  • NissanConnect services with Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 60/40 split-fold seating
  • Cloth seats
  • Automatic LED headlights
  • Nissan’s Safety Shield
  • Four-speaker stereo

No additional packages are available on the Armada S, however, drivers can order accessories from United Nissan Reno’s Part Center. Some available parts include a hatch tent, exterior ground lighting, and roof rail crossbars.

2022 Nissan Armada SV

Building off the Armada S, the SV packs on capabilities and convenience features for a small bump in price. The four-speaker audio system upgrades to six speakers, and the SV includes a wireless smartphone charging pad. Drivers can also choose between one more additional paint color option, Aspen White Tricoat.

The 2022 Armada SV includes all of the features on the S, as well as:

  • Upgraded 6-speaker audio system
  • Wireless charging pad
  • Rear privacy glass
  • Leatherette upholstered seats
  • Heated front seats
  • Trailer brake controller
  • Auto-dimming, heated side mirrors
  • Roof rails

The SV trim opens the possibility for additional upgrades like the Appearance package. This includes 20-inch alloy wheels (with mini spare), all-season tires, LED fog lights, power liftgate, and a remote garage door opener.

2022 Nissan Armada SL

For those looking to take advantage of the Armada’s truck-like capabilities, the SL makes a good contender. The Armada SL picks up the SV’s optional Appearance package and adds to it with trailer sway control, remote engine start, and power steering and mirrors. Along with this, the Armada SL includes a 360-degree Around View Monitor, as well as a power moonroof for those late-night adventures outback. Two additional paint choices are offered on the SL, Hermosa Blue Pearl, and Mocha Almond Pearl.

The Armada SL gains:

  • 360-degree Around View Monitor
  • Power moonroof
  • Power mirrors
  • Power steering wheel
  • Upholstered leather seats
  • Remote engine start
  • Remote keyless entry
  • Trailer sway control
  • 120-volt household-style power outlet
  • Side-mirror puddle lights
  • 13-speaker Bose premium sound system

The SL opens the door to two packages to take the Armada to the next level. There is the Captain’s Chair Package, which includes a second-row captain's chair seating and center console, and the Midnight Edition package. The Midnight Edition package adds a trendy blacked-out exterior with black badging, black interior trim and headliner, and special floor mats.

2022 Nissan Armada Platinum

The Platinum trim is the Armada at its fullest. For an MSRP of  $66,395 (including destination fee), drivers enjoy all the SL’s standard features plus a plethora of technology and convenience upgrades. For those cold winters, the Armada Platinum brings cabin comfort with its heated front seats and steering wheel, heated rear seats, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Platinum also gains unique driver assist technology like traffic sign recognition and Intelligent Backup Collision Intervention. And if you’re on a long road trip, its rear-seat entertainment system will keep the whole family occupied. Unique to the Platinum is Coulis Red Pearl paint.

The Platinum includes all of the SL’s features including:

  • 22-inch alloy wheels
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Wiper de-icer system
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Heated rear seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Quilted leather seats
  • One-touch power-folding third-row seats
  • Digital rearview mirror (allows you to see out the back even with a fully loaded cargo area)
  • Rear-seat entertainment system
  • Two rear 8-inch display screens
  • Two wireless headsets
  • HDMI input
  • Traffic sign recognition
  • Intelligent Backup Collision Intervention

Whether you need it for urban family commuting, or to transport cargo, the Armada offers all the space you need. Plus, with an 8,500lb max towing capacity, the possibilities for your next adventure are endless.

Not only will its standard technology and safety features give you the confidence to take on the day, but when you buy at United Nissan Reno, your new vehicle will also come with a Never Ending Warranty. United Nissan Reno has you covered for an unlimited time and unlimited miles.
